What is the Virtual Learning Program?
The Virtual Learning Program is committed and dedicated to act as facilitators and pioneers in the area of learning and training in virtual environments; reaching out to the education community and curriculum builders through our technology expertise.
This program is launched in collaboration with the IDC Consortium and has been made possible thanks to the over 200 academic institutions and 400 Global 1000 customers that have invested in and supported our interactive 3D and virtual reality solutions over the last 12 years.
What is EON Coliseum? – EON Coliseum is an online multiuser solution focused on education that enables educational institutions and businesses to present and share their ideas, communicate complex concepts and collaborate in 3D. Combining in one application rich media such as 3D worlds, sideshows, videos, avatars, voice, chat, and interactive 3D objects virtually from anywhere in the world. What happens after the 45 day trial ends on Coliseum? Coliseum, is not FREE after 45 days but you can upgrade to a commercial or education license, see price list. You will continue to be a VLP member and still enjoy membership benefits.
Where can I download interactive 3D content? Interactive 3D content can be downloaded at EON Experience, the EON content sharing community.
What is EON Experience™? EON Experience is the EON content sharing community with access to the online storage of 3D objects and applications. You can join EON Experience and get immediate access to free interactive stereo optimized 3D EON demos.
How do I submit my 3D content? Submit content to info@eonreality.com.
Will there be online classes included in the VLP that people can take? The idea is to make available whatever classes that the academic network are willing to share and sell to the network. The VLP will not dictate this, we will only be a facilitator to make this content available through the community. As an example an academic institution could make available on line classes through the VLP network.
You mentioned there are no costs for joining the VLP? There is no cost to become a member of the VLP.
